Writers Studio Starbright Students

A Comprehensive Writing Programme for Excellence

STELLAR Integrated Creative Writing Course packs loads of intensive learning into each lesson.

Each month, students learn at least two themes of creative writing and four modules of language components including grammar, vocabulary, sentence and word transformation, compre clozes, editing and reading comprehension.

Oral training is integrated into the curriculum in the last week of every month. Listening comprehension exercises are included for P5 & P6 in Terms 2 & 3.

The Writers Studio curriculum is designed by former MOE-trained teachers led by the founder.
Latest syllabus taught. All teachers are familiar with PSLE marking expectations.

Writing Freely and Purposefully

Pri 3 to Pri 4

  • Develop coherence, structure and organisation for oral presentations
  • Read expressively for given text types.

Pri 5 to Pri 6

  • Plot a story with creativity to deliver a central message and use creative phrases appropriately
  • Revisit language gaps and galvanise intensive preparation for the PSLE
  • Develop critical responses to new PSLE Oral Question types
