FRANCIS KOH Qualified Consultant
Having graduated from National Institute of Education with English subject
as a specialisation, Mr Francis Koh began his teaching career in 1998. Francis attended the Teaching of Grammar in Primary Schools organised by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO) and the Regional Language Centre (RELC) with a Singapore-Cambridge Certificate in the Teaching of English Grammar Course.
Francis also served as an official examiner for the conduct of the oral examinations and authorised marker for PSLE English. He also received added certification for the Teaching of Oral Interaction Skills from SEAMO and the RELC to equip himself with the latest changes to the Oral Examination requirements and ensure that he delivers engaging and effective lessons in this component.
Additional learning enhancements in his lessons have been made possible for his students as he applies with unwavering passion, skills acquired during self-funded courses on the Fundamentals of Play Production and Philosophy for Kids.
Today, Francis Koh is a resident tutor at Writers Studio School of English, where he imparts his strong knowledge in the language. He works best with students who are highly creative and expressive. His students are critical thinkers and respond best to daily phenomena, often able to draw succinct conclusions to observations made. They present well and are able to deliver their ideas in writing and verbally with confidence.
